How to play
- Solve every hidden word in the grid before your guesses run out.
- Tap a word to select it, type a real 5-letter word, and press Enter.
- Colors describe that word only:
r right spot
a in the word, wrong spot
t not in this word
- Green letters lock into the grid and fill in any word that crosses there.
- Your guess budget is shared across the whole grid. Choosing which word to attack next is the game.
- Answers are never plurals. Words that end in S on their own, like CHAOS, can appear.
- Helpers don't cost a guess. Earn more by clearing grids with guesses to spare:
- Unlock fills in the selected word.
- 50/50 knocks out half the letters left on the keyboard that aren't in the word.
- Dictionary shows the word's definition.
- Unmask reveals one letter.
- Double-letter hints (Settings) outline a colored tile when its letter appears more than once in the answer.
- Word level tracks your skill automatically and gets harder as you win. You can pick a fixed level in Settings.
Play a friend's grid: enter the code they sent you. Their grid size, word level, theme and hints come with it.
